Matze is the only founding member of ORPHAN HATE still playing with the band. His
drumming keeps everyone else on track. He has been playing drums since the age
of sixteen, taking lessons from different teachers, e.g. Tyronne Silva. His musical
influences come from bands like Led Zeppelin, Slayer and Pantera. Over the years
he has worked with many different artists and bands.

Still his most successfull concerts have been with ORPHAN HATE, touring Germany, Russia, Poland, Czech
Republic and Slovakia. He currently also plays with LOLA ANGST and the DARK
KASPERLE THEATER. His Pearl BRX Masters drumset gets beaten with Los Cabos
drumsticks.
