Alex has been playing the guitar since 1994 in different bands and genres. Joining
OPRHAN HATE in 1997 he was one of the first steady members of the band and has
been a member ever since. Being a graduate of musicology Alex found himself an
interesting side job at the MUSICFACTORY ORWOHAUS.

For his typical guitar sound he uses an Ibanez 7-String guitar, a Laney VH100R amp,
a Marshall Box Jcm 900 1960 amp, a Boss GT-8 and Ernie Ball Strings 10-60.
Bands and musicians like PANTERA, ARK, PANZERBALLETT, OPETH, NEVERMORE,
DEATH, COB, GARY MOORE, MIKE STERN and GREG HOWE have a big impact on his
musical works. Alex is a rather laid back person, making sure the band’s ballance
and sound is right.
